Touchdown, MPM! Student-Athletes Bring Home the Jets Play 60 Title

Victory for Mount Pleasant Middle School at Jets Tournament

On Friday, June 5, ten students from Mount Pleasant Middle School proudly represented MPM in the Jets Play 60 Flag Football Tournament at the Atlantic Health Jets Training Center. Competing against teams from 10 schools, the MPM squad showcased outstanding teamwork, sportsmanship, and skill. Under the guidance of Physical Education teacher Mike Altomare, the team went undefeated in pool play with a 4-0 record, earning a spot in the championship game. They capped off an incredible day with a 31-21 victory in the finals, finishing as tournament champions with a perfect 5-0 record. Congratulations to our student-athletes, Elizabeth Corino, Julia Donovan, Isabella Lebersfeld, Harlow Shansky, Amaya Nina Pierre, Ilyas Senhaji, Matthew Pak, Matthew Diskin, Julian Vo, Ryan Pasipanodya, and Coach Altomare on this outstanding achievement!
