Piecing Together Community: MPMS 6th Graders Create and Contribute to Collaborative Mosaic Project
Students at Mount Pleasant Middle School (MPMS) recently celebrated a creative milestone in the Media Center’s Makerspace! Aligned with our core pillars CREATE and CONTRIBUTE, 6th-grade students worked together, sticker-by-sticker, during their lunch and enrichment periods to complete a colorful, fox-themed "Stick Together" pixel mosaic.
The Stick Together mosaic station has quickly become a fan-favorite space in the Media Center. It gives students an opportunity to create hands-on art while taking time to decompress and connect with peers. By placing individual stickers one at a time, each student contributed to a vibrant final masterpiece, highlighting the power of teamwork, shared effort, and the school community.
