Trick or Treat! Halloween at MPMS!
🎃 Spooktacular Greetings, Jr. Lancer Parents and Guardians! 👻
Halloween is next week, and while our secondary school celebration looks a little different from those elementary parades and parties of the past, we’re still excited to see our students show off their creative (and school-appropriate!) Halloween spirit on Friday, October 30, 2026.
Students are welcome to wear costumes to school, but please note — candy or other food items may not be distributed. We appreciate your help in reminding your child of the following guidelines so everyone can have a safe and enjoyable day:
🎭 Costume Guidelines:
● Costumes must meet our regular dress code standards.
● Costumes must be non-violent and non-offensive — no weapons (real or pretend) or
anything that could be considered frightening or inappropriate.
● No costume masks, face paint, or accessories of any kind are allowed.
● Costumes may not promote negative behavior.
● To keep everyone safe, all costumes must be latex-free, and inflatable costumes are
not permitted.
● Costumes should respect everyone — they must not ridicule or demean any individual
or group.
As always, the administration reserves the right to determine if a costume is appropriate. Students wearing costumes that don’t meet these guidelines will be asked to change into regular clothing.
We appreciate your support in maintaining a fun, respectful, and safe environment for everyone. We can’t wait to see our students’ creativity shine in their school-appropriate Halloween attire! 🎃
Thank you, and have a Lancertastic Halloween!
